Activity Director, Bethesda Gardens Frisco

Tiffanie Carney is the Activity Director at Bethesda Gardens Frisco, where she is dedicated to creating meaningful, joy-filled experiences for seniors. With a strong commitment to service and connection, she blends creativity, compassion, and purpose to enrich the lives of residents and support their families.

Originally from Steubenville, Ohio, Tiffanie moved to Texas in 2022 and discovered a deep passion for senior engagement and community impact. Her work is rooted in the belief that every person deserves to feel seen, valued, and supported.

Advisory Focus

Tiffanie provides insight on senior-care engagement, resident experience, and intergenerational programming. Her guidance helps strengthen GrandPals Connect's mission of building meaningful relationships between youth and seniors.

Raziqa Virani

Raziqa Virani

Director of Celebrations, Parkview in Frisco

External Advisory Board Member

Raziqa Virani is the Director of Celebrations at Parkview in Frisco, where she focuses on creating engaging, purposeful experiences for residents and their families. With a multidisciplinary academic background and more than seven years in healthcare, she brings deep expertise in senior engagement, cognitive support, and quality-of-life programming.

Raziqa holds a Bachelor of Science in Pre-Medical Biology from the University of North Texas and a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences with a focus on Tumor Biology from Georgetown University. She also earned a second Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Essex in the United Kingdom.

Her professional experience includes working with individuals facing dementia, homelessness, and the effects of COVID-19, shaping her commitment to meaningful connection and compassionate care. Outside of her work, she enjoys spending time outdoors, reading, and making memories with loved ones.

Advisory Focus

Raziqa provides guidance on senior-care engagement, therapeutic activity design, and resident experience. Her insight strengthens GrandPals Connect's intergenerational programming and supports the development of enriching, relationship-centered experiences for youth and seniors.

Suresh Manduva

Suresh Manduva

Frisco ISD Board of Trustees

External Advisory Board Member

Suresh Manduva serves on the Frisco ISD Board of Trustees and is a longtime community leader and volunteer with extensive experience in civic engagement, nonprofit leadership, and community service.

Suresh previously served as President and Board Chair of the Telugu Association of North Texas (TANTEX), a 40-year-old nonprofit serving the Telugu-speaking community across North Texas. He also serves as a Board Director of the Indian American Families Federation (IAFF), where he has supported numerous community service initiatives, including providing meals and distributing PPE to frontline workers and local communities during the COVID-19 pandemic.

In addition to his public and nonprofit service, Suresh is the President and Co-founder of Applauz Productions, an event management company specializing in corporate, social, and entertainment events.

Advisory Focus

Suresh is committed to education, community engagement, and bringing people together through service and leadership.
